(Jerusalem Post) Anna Ahronheim - More than 600 Bedouins volunteered for the Israeli military in 2020, a sharp increase from previous years. The majority come from communities in the north. At a ceremony Wednesday marking the role of Bedouins in Israeli security forces, Defense Minister Benny Gantz said, "You are the best proof that we need to live together, that we can live together."
