[Ha'aretz] Zvi Bar'el - The new Lebanese government is putting Hizbullah on an equal footing with the Lebanese Army in matters pertaining to the defense of the state as well as the liberation of the Shaba Farms and the village of Ghajar. This means that any talk of disarming Hizbullah undermines the defense of Lebanon. Not only is Hizbullah allowed to retain its arms, it can also define what it means to defend Lebanon.
