[AFP] Jihad Siqlaw - Ahmad al-Asaad has decided to stand up to the militant group Hizbullah in Lebanon's June 7 parliamentary elections. "I will topple the Iranian project," said Asaad, son of former House Speaker Kamel al-Asaad, who heads his own mainly Shiite party. "The resistance's role is over," Asaad said.
