[NGO Monitor] From the beginning of Israel's military operation in Gaza on Dec. 27 to Jan. 11, more than 35 NGOs claiming to promote human rights and humanitarian agendas have issued more than 175 statements on the fighting, and the number increases continuously. During that period, Human Rights Watch released eleven statements primarily critical of Israel, and since Dec. 30, HRW's Internet site has featured emotive images of Palestinian victimization.
