[AP] Amy Teibel - The U.S. pulled out of an annual multinational air force drill in Turkey after that country decided to exclude Israeli participation. The exercise was to have been the sixth annual maneuver of its kind and was to have included U.S., Italian and NATO forces. Israeli political scientist Amikam Nachmani called the Turkish decision "a warning bell" since Turkey had never before disturbed its military ties with Israel.
