[AP/Los Angeles Times] Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa joined thousands of Israel supporters Sunday in Los Angeles to rally behind Israel. Condemning the "relentless rocket attacks of Hamas and Hizballah against Israel," Villaraigosa said: "We're here to defend (Israel's) unassailable right to defend itself." In a separate pro-Israel rally in San Francisco Sunday, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said Hizballah and Hamas rocket attacks against Israel represented "clear acts of war. Israel is not fighting just to protect its citizens...it is fighting for its very existence." 2006-07-24 01:00:00Full Article
