[New York Times] Nazila Fathi and Michael Slackman - Iranian authorities have acknowledged that the number of votes cast in 50 cities exceeded the actual number of voters, state television reported Monday. Vowing not to allow a repeat of Saturday's clashes, the government on Sunday saturated major streets and squares of Tehran with police and Basij militia forces.
