[State Department] After meeting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington on Friday, Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal said: "Incrementalism and a step-by-step approach has not and - we believe - will not achieve peace. Temporary security, confidence-building measures will also not bring peace." He was asked: Q: If the Obama Administration gets a full settlement freeze, would your country or the Arabs do anything in return? Saud: "We believe that making conditions right for a settlement is not by making gestures. It is by delving into the real issues. As the Secretary has said, that is what will make peace.
