(Jerusalem Post) Jonny Paul - Alistair Burt, a Conservative member of parliament and former member of the Conservative Friends of Israel, has been given the Middle East portfolio at the Foreign Office, it was announced on Monday. Stuart Polak, director of the Conservative Friends of Israel, called Burt's appointment "excellent news."
