(Hudson Institute-New York) Khaled Abu Toameh - Two years ago, Mahmoud Abbas' official PA news agency, Wafa, reported that Israel had released poison-resistant rats to drive Arab residents of Jerusalem out of their homes. It is not clear how these rats were taught to stay away from Jews, who also live in the Old City. Such allegations reflect a sick mindset and are part of a long-standing tradition of blaming Israel and Jews for almost everything that goes wrong in Arab countries.
