(AP) Edith M. Lederer - Britain, France and Germany want the UN and the EU to propose the outlines of a final settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that would lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state, UN diplomats said. The three countries are pressing for Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the EU to propose a settlement text at a meeting in mid-April of the Quartet of Mideast mediators.
