(Ha'aretz) Yoav Stern - Between 1920 and 1923, about 20 villages in the Upper Galilee were considered part of Lebanon under the French Mandate, and not as part of Palestine under the British Mandate. In 1923, the border was redrawn further to the north, an action that placed these settlements under British Mandatory rule. Hizballah is demanding that the territory between the two borderlines be returned to Lebanon.
