(UPI) Martin Sieff - More than any other Israeli military initiative or security precaution, the security barrier broke the back of the bloody second Palestinian intifada and its suicide bomber offensive that killed close to a thousand Israeli civilians, most of them women and children. India has adopted Israel's barrier strategy with great success to cut back on Islamist guerrillas infiltrating into Kashmir and is extending the concept to guard against Islamist incursions from Bangladesh as well.
