The Facebook page, "The Syrian Revolution 2011," has amassed more than 200,000 followers. YouTube video uploads from Syria have exploded, showing rallies, demonstrations and violence. Tapping into Turkish cell phone providers has allowed Syrians to send messages without being tracked by authorities.
