(Guardian-UK) Conal Urquhart - Palestinian investigators and British consular officials were Thursday night urgently trying to make contact with the Palestinian group in the Gaza Strip who abducted Kate Burton, 25, a British aid worker, and her parents Hugh and Helen. The anarchy in Gaza is almost totally associated with the Fatah movement, while Hamas stands at the sidelines, viewed by many Gazans as the only faction with any credibility. The issue of kidnapping was often the subject of jokes among foreigners in Gaza.
