Smuggling in North Sinai Surges as the Police Vanish

(New York Times) David D. Kirkpatrick - The smuggling business has grown so exponentially in Sinai that Hamas recently limited car imports through the smuggling tunnels to 30 a week. Until Hamas began to slow the flow last month, as many as 250 cars a week went through the tunnels, smugglers said.
