(Ynet News) Attila Somfalvi - The Palestinian Authority has spent the past few days trying to advance a move to soften its bid for recognition at the UN in order to gain wider support among European nations. According to the proposed version, the PLO's status within UN institutes will be significantly upgraded but without an official declaration of independence.
