(Weekly Standard) Benjamin Weinthal - Syrian security forces have intensified a campaign to intimidate and decimate any Syrian opposition in Europe. On New Year's Eve in Sarstedt, Germany, two men executed a Syrian man in his car while he was stopped at a red light. In addition, two men believed to be Syrian agents stormed the Berlin apartment of prominent Syrian dissident Ferhad Ahma and beat him with "clubs" on Christmas Eve in his Berlin apartment.
