(Ha'aretz) Moshe Arens - The international political climate for Israel seems to be improving. Last week the Canadian foreign minister, John Baird, announced during a visit to Israel that Israel has no better friend than Canada. The policy of the new government of the Netherlands is distinctly friendlier than that of previous Dutch governments. The Eastern European members of the EU continue to maintain close relations with Israel.
