(CNSNews) Israel fully intends to keep its pledge to the U.S. to remove so-called illegal outposts from the West Bank, but it will only be done within the framework of the law, Prime Minister Sharon's spokesman Dr. Ra'anan Gissin said on Tuesday. A U.S. official said on Tuesday that the administration is not "upset" with Israel and that it is up to Israel to define what is an illegal outpost under Israeli law. "Israel is a country governed by law," Gissin said. A list has been submitted but the issue of outposts cannot be compared to the demand that the Palestinians fight terrorism, he said. "It has nothing to do with the war against terrorism," he said. It doesn't interfere with one Palestinian's life, he added.2004-07-07 00:00:00Full Article
