(Ha'aretz) German surgeons have amputated the leg of Palestinian legislator and former information minister Nabil Amr, who was shot by masked gunmen on the night of July 20th in his Ramallah home, minutes after his return from a television interview where he criticized Arafat. Palestinian security sources revealed Wednesday that Arafat suspended an investigation into the shooting, claiming that Israel was behind it.
