Peres said, "I use this platform as president of Israel to send Ramadan greetings to the millions of Muslims in Israel and throughout the world." "The Arab world around us is changing. Young people are demanding their freedom, social welfare, and prosperity. The younger generation wants change. I wish the younger generation in Arab countries success in creating a better society, more open, and more prosperous," the president said.
