(Ha'aretz) Jack Khoury - On Wednesday night more than 80 rockets were fired from Gaza at Israel; 48 toward Beersheba - two which struck the center of the city - Dimona and Ofakim; and 12 toward Ashdod and nearby towns. Israel's Iron Dome anti-missile batteries intercepted about 30 rockets. The IDF Home Front Command cancelled school Thursday in all communities located up to 40 km. from Gaza and gatherings of more than 100 people. People in communities of up to 7 km. from Gaza were told not to go to work on Thursday, except for those in vital positions. Home Front officers said people must enter the nearest protected space as soon as an alert is heard and close the door. People in an open area must lie on the ground and protect their head. 2012-11-15 00:00:00Full Article
