(The Australian) Editorial - The tape confirms a great deal we already knew about al-Qaeda's leader. It reveals him once again as deranged, evil, and deeply opportunistic. Bin Laden claims he cannot be an enemy of freedom, because only freedom-loving men would bring down skyscrapers filled with innocent civilians. And he appears to seriously believe we will accept his "painful feelings" from Israel's invasion of Lebanon 22 years ago as an excuse for this infamy.
