(Times of Israel) Judy Lash Balint - In Bethlehem this year, the most striking thing was the massive presence of Palestinian police. Two uniformed men are stationed on every corner, at every intersection, and every 50 yards along the narrow streets leading to Manger Square. Dozens of police cars, army vehicles, jeeps, and cars with flashing lights are dotted all over town. Missing from previous years are pictures of Yasser Arafat or Mahmoud Abbas.
