(Jerusalem Post) - Khaled Abu Toameh Palestinian policemen are once again patrolling the streets of West Bank cities. However, they neither wear their blue uniforms nor carry Kalashnikov rifles or pistols. Residents of West Bank cities have complained that local thieves and criminals are exploiting the security situation to break into private homes and businesses, especially during IDF-imposed curfew hours.
