(Washington Post) - A CIA agent fluent in Arabic convened a security training conference for 29 Palestinian police officers last September in Jericho, for what was to be the first of many security programs to help fulfill Bush's vision of a peaceful Middle East with Palestinians and Israelis living side by side.
