(Jerusalem Post) Melissa Radler - Leaders of Jewish groups said they were devastated at Ramon's death and they noted that events commemorating his achievements are being planned. "He was a person who healed Israel at a time when it so badly needed someone to bring people together," said Malcolm Hoenlein, the executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.
