(IMRA) A Palestinian public opinion poll conducted in February 2003 by Birzeit University asked respondents about their political affiliation. The results: Fatah 21%, Hamas 15, Independent, with Islamic leaning 13, Islamic Jihad 7, Independent, with Fatah leaning 3, PFLP 2, PPP 1, DFLP 1, Independent, with leftist leaning 1, other Islamic factions 1, other nationalist factions 1 none 34.
