(Ha'aretz) - Roni Singer and Amos Harel Hundreds of police officers and volunteers have been on security duty in crowded public areas since the start of the holiday. Security has also been beefed up at shopping malls, parks, and various festivals taking place throughout the country. Police will remain on high alert for the last day of the week-long Passover holiday on Wednesday. Security sources said Monday they had received 53 warnings of planned terror attacks by all the Palestinian terror organizations, especially Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
