(Israel Radio) Nabil Amar, newly appointed by Abu Mazen as the PA Minister of Information, told the Islam Online chat forum on May 6, 2003: "I am convinced that Abu Mazen feels obligated to the political program approved by the Palestinian Legislative Council, and that the Palestinian struggle will never cease as long as the occupation continues." "While sometimes it is necessary to switch from one means to another, all the forces and the government of the Palestinian people will never be silent until an independent state is established with Jerusalem as its capital and a fair solution is reached to the refugee problem on the basis of international legitimacy."
