(Boston Globe) Thousands of Jews from Greater Boston and beyond gathered at the South Boston waterfront Sunday to mark the 55th anniversary of the State of Israel. The ''Boston Celebrates Israel'' event drew more than 10,000 people to the World Trade Center for a day of Israeli music, film, food, crafts, and shopping.
