(AP/Washington Post) - The U.S. vetoed a UN Security Council resolution Tuesday that would have condemned Israel for building a barrier that cuts into the West Bank. The American veto came after the U.S. suggested an alternate draft that would have called on all parties to dismantle terrorist groups. Four members of the Council abstained: Bulgaria, Cameroon, Germany, and Britain.
