(Washington Free Beacon) Adam Kredo - Included in the UN General Assembly's latest "peacekeeping budget," passed last month, is a call at the behest of Syria for Israel to pay $1.1 million for damages to UN property in Qana village in southern Lebanon during its 1996 campaign to stop Hizbullah terrorists. Ron Prosor, Israel's ambassador to the UN, called the accusations baseless and a waste of time.
