(Ha'aretz) Aluf Benn - The European Union is slowly moving closer to the American view of the Palestinian Authority and its chairman, Yasser Arafat, according to reports reaching Jerusalem. Earlier this week Arafat hosted the EU's foreign policy coordinator, Javier Solana, at his office in Ramallah, where Solana reportedly delivered a stern warning and urged Arafat to transfer the reins of power to someone else.
