(VOA News) An Israeli ministerial committee voted Sunday to release 26 Palestinians jailed for killing Israelis before the 1993 interim peace deal with the Palestinian Authority. The government of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has promised to free 104 long-held Palestinian prisoners in four stages as peace talks proceed.
