Permits were approved for 386 new units in Har Homa [today a neighborhood of 25,000] in southern Jerusalem, and 136 for Neveh Ya'acov [pop. 30,000] and 36 for Pisgat Ze'ev [pop. 50,000] in northern Jerusalem.
