(New York Times) Mark Landler - A new book, The Good Spy: The Life and Death of Robert Ames, by Kai Bird, shines a spotlight on the April 1983 bombing of the American Embassy in Beirut, which killed 63 people, 17 of them American, including eight CIA officers, one of them Ames.
