[Ha'aretz] Avi Issacharoff - The Fatah-affiliated Palestinian Security Force arrested seven Iranian weapons experts working for Hamas during a raid at the Islamic University in Gaza City, a senior Fatah official reported Thursday. He said an eighth committed suicide during the raid. Fatah forces reported apprehending some 1,400 firearms and missiles at the site. According to Fatah, some of the Iranians were chemical experts. Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh said Friday that in addition to funding weapons for Hamas and Islamic Jihad in the West Bank and Gaza, Iran "is also very intensively involved in training and upgrading the professional capability of the terrorist groups in Gaza." 2007-02-02 01:00:00Full Article
