(Ha'aretz) Barak Ravid - A peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians is unattainable and Israel should therefore seek a regional arrangement, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman told U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Thursday in Paris. Lieberman said that for the first time the strategic interests of the moderate Arab world and Israel have aligned. Both sides are facing the threats of Iran, global Jihad and al-Qaeda, as well as the spillover of the conflict in Syria and Iraq to neighboring countries. There is now a basis for creating a new diplomatic structure in the Middle East.
