(Times of Israel) Raphael Ahren - An Israeli delegation arrived in Cairo on Tuesday for indirect cease-fire talks with Hamas, as the resumption of hostilities appeared unlikely. Hours later, the talks adjourned until late October due to upcoming Jewish and Muslim holidays. "It is quite clear that Hamas has no interest in resuming fire," Brig.-Gen. (res.) Michael Herzog said Monday. "Not only were they severely beaten during the war, but also they feel that the population does not like them to go down that road again.
