(Washington Post) Karen DeYoung - U.S. aircraft dropped weapons and medical supplies on Sunday to besieged Kurdish forces fighting the Islamic State in the Syrian border town of Kobane. The weapons and ammunition dropped were supplied by Kurdish authorities in Iraq.
