(Times of Israel) Israeli soldiers came under fire Sunday night while razing the Kalandiya home of Muhammad Abu Shaheen, who killed Danny Gonen in June near Dolev in the West Bank. "In response to the immediate danger, forces fired towards the attackers," the army said. Palestinian hospital sources said two Palestinians were killed and dozens were wounded in the clash. Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon told Israel Radio on Monday: "The force reacted with professionalism, destroying the house and returning fire at those shooting at it." Ya'alon said that "under no circumstances" would the policy of home demolitions stop. "This step really deters....In recent weeks and months, parents have turned in their children or told us their children are on their way to carry out an attack. There's no doubt it works." 2015-11-16 00:00:00Full Article
