(Times of Israel) A Jordanian man, Saeed Amro, 28, attempted to stab an IDF Border Policeman at Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem on Friday following afternoon prayers. The man ran at the policemen while yelling "Allahu Akbar" before he was killed. Jordanian authorities had expressed doubt that Amro had assaulted the Israelis, saying he was merely a tourist.
