(Financial Times-UK) Erika Solomon, Mehul Srivastasa, and Geoff Dyer - Syrian rebels are in secret talks with Russia to end the fighting in Aleppo, according to opposition figures. Turkey has been brokering the talks in Ankara. "The Russians and Turks are talking without the U.S. now. It [Washington] is completely shut out of these talks," said one opposition figure.
