(Wall Street Journal) Benoit Faucon and Ahmed Al Omran - Islamic State has ramped up sales of oil and gas to the Syrian Assad regime, U.S. and European officials said. The regime's purchases are helping sustain Islamic State, despite its insistence that it is dedicated to eradicating IS. Oil and gas sales to Assad's regime are now Islamic State's largest source of funds, the officials said.
