(VOA News) Michael Lipin - The Mideast peace process has been deadlocked since April 2014, when indirect talks led by then-Secretary of State John Kerry broke down. Since then, Netanyahu has repeatedly offered to resume talks with Abbas without preconditions, while Abbas has declined such offers.
