(Kurdistan24) Baxtiyar Goran - Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy commander of the Iranian-backed Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Shia militia group in Iraq, said in Basra last week, "The support of the Islamic Republic [of Iran] has been essential, and the youth of Hizbullah had an essential role in training, planning, and supporting" the PMF factions. "The Islamic Republic opened its treasury for us when weapons and ammunition were lacking."
