(JNS) Dr. Harold Rhode - Iranians fear confrontation. They most often get others to do their dirty work so that others would be forced to take the blame. That's why they created Hizbullah, to carry out terrorist acts for which Hizbullah and not Iran would be held responsible. It would be out of character now for the Iranians to directly confront the U.S. or Israel, both of which have proven their ability to destroy Iranian targets in Syria. Iran knows that it cannot stand up to either. Now is the time to reassure the Iranian people that we stand with them against their brutal rulers, and after their terrorist regime is overthrown, that we will gladly welcome them back into the community of nations. The writer served for 28 years as an advisor on the Islamic world in the Office of the U.S. Secretary of Defense.2018-05-04 00:00:00Full Article
