(AP) Kirsten Grieshaber - Assadollah Assadi, a Vienna-based Iranian diplomat, was charged in Germany on Wednesday with activity as a foreign agent and conspiracy to commit murder. He allegedly gave a couple with Iranian roots 500 grams of TATP explosive during a meeting in Luxembourg in June to be used to attack an annual meeting of an exiled Iranian opposition group near Paris, German federal prosecutors said. Prosecutors said Assadi was a member of the Iranian intelligence service "Ministry of Intelligence and Security," whose tasks "primarily include the intensive observation and combating of opposition groups inside and outside of Iran."
